In this class we will be guided in meditation through spoken word and the sound of the gong. These tools can assist us in accessing the meditative state, where our conscious thoughts may slow down, enabling us to experience deeper states of relaxation, calm and peacefulness.
We will start with a relaxing guided meditation accompanied by soothing sounds of himalayan singing bowls. From this relaxed state we will float into the embrace of the gong, which will help us drop into a deeper state of meditation.
This class is suitable for everyone, no prior experience necessary. It can be a gentle introduction to both meditation and the gong, or a welcome support to help with maintaining a regular meditation practice.
Anyone in need of some me time, a break during the busy week, to switch off and rejuvenate. All are welcome.
